Single-Story House, Wrocław

The house's modest white volume, built in the spirit of modernism, conceals refined, spacious interiors and unconventional functional solutions.

The house’s modest white volume, built in the spirit of modernism, conceals refined, spacious interiors and unconventional functional solutions. The building’s structure was shaped around the clients’ clear priorities: direct contact with a spacious garden and the need for a large shared living space combined with an open kitchen.

As a result of very close collaboration between the clients, the architects, and the interior designers, a south- and west-facing single-story villa emerged, with an enfilade interior layout organized around a centrally located utility core. An impressive panoramic glazed wall along the covered terrace, when opened, enlarges the building’s space, blurring the boundary between the house and the garden.
